Meet the Teacher:
My name is Dana Warren, and I am excited to be your teacher this semester. I have been teaching for 30 years. This is my 29th year at Berrien High School (so yes, I might have taught your mom or dad or both). In my 30 years, I have taught everything from AP Language and Composition to Drama. This year I am teaching British Literature, Honors American Literature, Honors STEM ELA, 10th grade ELA, 9th honors ELA, and 9th grade ELA. I am also the AP Coordinator for BHS. I absolutely love teaching, and I hope you enjoy my class.
I am a third-generation teacher. My grandmother, Lois Watson, was a teacher who taught math and 1st grade for 38 years. My mother, Elaine Watson Morris, taught 5th grade for 30 years.
I live in Nashville, GA with my husband, Mark. We'll be celebrating our 17th anniversary in 2023. We have two wonderful dogs and four feisty cats. Our dogs are Angus (11), and Eddie (8). Our cats are Alvin (9), Hilda (2), Ava (2), and Kirby (a kitten). We also have a red-eared slider named Max. I think we're running a petting zoo. You will see pictures of two of our pups, Lucy and Boris, who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We miss them terribly.
If I'm not at school, you can usually find me reading a book, hanging out with my husband and our pets, or watching too much Investigation Discovery.
